FAQ
Does Jam need access to my repository?
Only if you want articles delivered as pull requests. You install the Jam GitHub App on the repositories you choose. Without it, every draft is Markdown you can copy or download.
Will Jam push to my main branch?
No. Jam writes each article to a new branch and opens a pull request. Nothing reaches your site until you merge it.
Which agents can use Jam?
Any agent that speaks MCP. Claude and ChatGPT sign in with OAuth, so there is no key to paste. Claude Code and Cursor connect with an API key in one line.
Which AI engines does Jam track?
ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews and Microsoft Copilot are in every plan. Claude is an add-on you can turn on when you build your plan.
Can I get Jam’s updates in my own tools?
Yes. Updates can reach you by email, Slack, Discord, Telegram or iMessage, and webhooks post them to any URL you run, signed so you can check they came from Jam.
Do you support WordPress or Webflow?
Webflow is coming. Until then, copy or download any draft as Markdown, or let your own agent publish it through the Jam MCP server.
