How credits work
Plans used to be sold as 10,000, 50,000 or 150,000 AI runs a seat. A number that big tells you nothing about what any one thing costs, and the price of a single action was published nowhere. So the model is small enough to print in full: five actions, three prices.
What uses credits
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| Message the agent | 1 |
| Each tool the agent runs, unless listed below | 1 |
| Search or lookup | 10 |
| Lead with verified email | 10 |
| Lead with verified mobile | 20 |
| Published article | 20 |
A message that runs one tool costs 2. Lead search, previews and email sending are free. Purchased credits never expire. Every plan includes every agent model.
Why your balance is a smaller number
If you were using Jam before the change, the number on your meter went down. What things cost went down with it. Measured over 90 days of real usage, a message to the agent billed about 17 credits on average under the old model. It costs 1 now.
Not every action moved the same way. That is exactly why the table above is the whole price list rather than a summary of one: you can price a month by reading it, instead of taking our word for the direction.
Tracking is never charged
AI search tracking is covered by your plan. Those scans run on a schedule, and a background job should never drain a balance you did not choose to spend. Searching for leads and previewing them is free, and so is sending email. You spend a credit when Jam does work that reaches outside the product on your behalf.
Two kinds of credit
Plan credits reset at the start of each billing cycle, so your balance returns to your plan amount rather than stacking on top of it. Purchased credits are the exception and never expire.
How many credits each plan includes is on the pricing page.
